The Phoenician
The Phoenicians descended from the city of Gebeil, located in the eastern Mediterranean basin, thought to be the oldest city in the world dating back to 7000 B.C. Along with Gebeil, the Phonecians existed among four other cities that still exist and hold significant meaning to the country of Lebanon: Baalbeck, Sidon, Tyre and the capital Beirut. The Phonecians were well known for traveling across the Mediterranean in specially crafted boats made from the famous cedars of Lebanon. In the countries they sailed to the Phonecians became well known for their original stamp on the goods that they sold. My family and I are proud to carry on their history through our traditional cuisine and hospitality.
